Leadership change at one of Cayman's largest private investors lands as the Premier takes financial services diplomacy to London and Dublin.
Dart has named Joanne Lawson as chief executive officer, effective immediately, according to Caymanian Times. Cayman Independent reports she is the company's first Caymanian CEO, taking the helm at one of the islands' largest private investors. Separately, Dart announced its 2026 scholarship recipients, with Kaylee Pierre and Kavya Punjabi of St. Ignatius Catholic School awarded high school scholarships and Vin Weekley receiving the William A. Premier and Financial Services Minister André Ebanks travelled to London this weekend and will also visit Dublin, engaging government, policy and financial services stakeholders, per Cayman News Service and Cayman Independent.
